DEFCON 2 Satellite CV Controlled Signal Router

A CV controlled dual-path analog signal switcher. High-speed CMOS switching keeps transitions silent and instantaneous with zero audible artifacts.

Signal Architecture

• Routes the Main Input to either Path A (left) or Path B (right).
• Independent Insert, Send, Return, and Output jacks on each path for patching in external processing.
  
• Gate Outputs: Path A and Path B gate outputs send control signals based on the active path to trigger envelopes, clock sources, or external modules.

Routing Modes

• 1-to-1 (Single Path, Single Destination): Standard switchable chain using Main In and Main Out with insert loop access.
• 2-to-1 (Source Selector): Patch two sources into Insert In A and Insert In B, bypassing Main In. The toggle selects which source hits the Main Output.
• 1-to-2 (Split & Route): Patch into Main In and send out via Out A and Out B. Process each path independently through its respective insert loop before routing to separate destinations.

Hardware & Build

• Raw Copper Panel: Unfinished copper front panel designed to tarnish and patina naturally over time based on handling and environment.  Artwork by Robots Are Red.
• Additional Satellite Expansion: Rear expansion port connects to additional DEFCON 2 Satellite module, mirroring the toggle state to control two additional independent signal paths.  Virtually unlimited signal daisy chain capabilities.
